Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

The small actions and habits that add up to large, compounded gains. Sure, 'eat that donut, it's only one', will often transform into two or three over time which will not add to healthy dietary habits and physical health. So, this is for good and bad habits. Good habits such as getting to the gym are something to sweat about as the 'small' stuff is concerned. Same for the practice of this journal, it's a small thing worth thinking about as a continued practice.

Evening Reflection:

This morning's sentiment summed it up well enough. Besides it's not just small stuff to sweat or worry about. It's also about the small stuff to enjoy, like enjoying the present moment is made up of small things. The sun, reading, relaxing, laughing, etc. I tend to over emphasize the large goals but it's about slowing down to enjoy the small things.

Title prompts are taken from The Daily Stoic Journal by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman.
