Daily Stoic Entry #159: If I Took Things Patiently, Step by Step, What Could I Conquer?
June 8th, 2022
Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).
I think if you really, truly apply yourself then with patience and commitment then you will be able to conquer most things you've set your mind to. It requires ultimate focus on the one task before you at hand. One at a time, every time. No distractions.
The requirement, however, that's difficult for me, is to actually pick something to aim at. A direction. Making a choice to pursue something doesn't mean you can't try other things either. It requires focus, no distractions. Actual long-term focus not a few hours for one day, or a few days. It's about extended commitment to your goals, the long-term important goals that is. The irony is that if you find the proper focus you won't need as much time as you may think to achieve what you want.
