Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

I'm a good soldier, keeping with the theme of the question. But I'm not a model soldier who's going to win any medals for glorious service. Let's see if you can't find ways to increase your valor to get closer to get closer to your ideal. Keeping watch and doing your duty as a just, good, and kind person.

Evening Reflection:

Remember, you're not trying to win medals so you can show it off to others for recognition of your good deeds or whatever. As the question says it's a campaign for life. Don't rush headlong into battle without being prepared. Slow and steady, be prepared, focus, and the rest will follow.

Title prompts are taken from The Daily Stoic Journal by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman.
