Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

Tension and resistance to what you have to do anyway, needs to be eliminated. These emotions serve you no purpose other than making it harder than it needs to be.

Evening Reflection:

Before switching tasks do nothing for five minutes. Slow down. Set a timer if you must. Now your mind rests a bit and can switch to the next task. By pausing you can let emotions come and go and let it run around for a bit without fighting them. This makes it so that it comes into focus and loses its power without intervening with whatever task you need to be doing.

Title prompts are taken from The Daily Stoic Journal by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman.
