Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

Last year and the year before many of us lost some of the freedoms we enjoyed due to the covid pandemic. It didn't break me, but it was very difficult and yet it was more difficult for others than myself. Nevertheless, it was a practice run of what can happen in these uncertain times (aren't all times uncertain?).

Evening Reflection:

A positive I've seen is that such a drastic event worldwide, which we're still feeling the effects of, is that people have started to look at their lives differently and started making changes to their lives for the better. So, again the hardship has taught many of us lessons many of us will not forget any time soon. The same is true for me. So, if I lost my freedom again, would it break me? I'm honestly not sure but this practice run has been illuminating either way.

Title prompts are taken from The Daily Stoic Journal by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman.
