Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

Today the day started with plenty of reasons to be upset. So, my choice for today is not to burden others with it as they have nothing to do with it and my reaction is part of the problem, less so the events that caused it. Have faith, meditate, breathe, relax, and do the work you have to do today. You'll only be more upset if you don't do the work you need to do. That's the choice.

Evening Reflection:

It was a moderate success; I didn't react poorly towards others and did my work the best I can today. Yet, I found it difficult to relax and let go of frustration. I did a mini meditation session at work to break the cycle, but it was only mildly successful. So I'll just forgive myself for an off day, get some extra sleep tonight.
