Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

Can one even realistically expect to be able to do that? I personally don't think so. However, I get what we're asking here. We rarely take a moment to consider the possible consequences of our actions, preferring to react first rather than think first. The best way to prepare oneself for all that might happen, that I've been trying to do more of, is to test the critical assumptions you're basing your plans or your thoughts on.

Evening Reflection:

Testing the critical assumption also allows you to test most aspects of life. In projects at work, building relationships, your personal development. This is why I think it's the central point to start with but it's by no means the only thing to test. After all we all have our biases that we must be honest about.

Title prompts are taken from The Daily Stoic Journal by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman.
