Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

YouTube, Netflix, Instagram, shit like that are probably the most useless time leaks for me. Yet, I find it such a good way to relax as I love that stuff, good storytelling is great. But it's used too much by me and it's better to learn a skill like guitar or something else. It doesn't have to be something 'productive', but it can be something more stimulating and challenging, not just consuming. Some balance between skill and hobby. Guitar is the example that comes to mind frequently as well as reading or writing.

Evening Reflection:

What brings me joy? To pursue outside of work. What would you do if you didn't have to work? You have to do something worthwhile, you can't just sit behind a tv or computer and run out the clock on life. Golf, Basketball, Guitar, Writing, Hikes, Reading, etc. Be out there.

Title prompts are taken from The Daily Stoic Journal by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman.
