Daily Stoic Entry #272: How Can I Strengthen My Inner Citadel?

September 30th, 2022

Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

Discipline, practice, determination, and repetition. Refining your philosophy and putting it into action every day is the only way to strengthen the inner citadel, your sense of self. Much like your muscles they can only be trained by repeated use and putting it under strain, the mind and the inner fortress works the same.

Evening Reflection:

Much else cannot be said I think at the moment of writing. It's repeated application of your philosophy in real life that will fortify the inner resolve. As well as action, putting the ideas and principles into action.

Title prompts are taken from The Daily Stoic Journal by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman.
