Daily Stoic Entry #275: Do I Live as If We Are All One — All Part of the Same Whole?
October 3rd, 2022
Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).
Morning Reflection:
With a war in Ukraine, I find it hard to despise and wish harm on the aggressors and especially their leadership. This war started purely by just one man. there was no existential threat to Russia, no invasion. Sometimes I wish we just end the charade and allow NATO force to support the defense with the gloves off none of this pussyfooting around. But I'm no politician I don't know the possible consequences. I just wish and end to the suffering of all the people involved.
Evening Reflection:
So, no. I am not living as if we are all one in the grand scheme of things. But even closer to home I have difficulty to show love to strangers, for example.
