Daily Stoic Entry #277: What Do I Say That's Better Left Unsaid?
October 5th, 2022
Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).
Morning Reflection:
I'm not sure. I've been mindful of not saying stupid or rude shit to others. So, nothing comes to mind. The worst offending remarks usually receive immediate negative feedback. In my recent experience I haven't been on the receiving end of this. Thus, the evidence suggests that I'm doing all right.
Evening Reflection:
That being said, what's leftover is the comments and things I say that don't receive immediate negative feedback. The things in my blindspot, te things that aren't smart to say and have perhaps a delayed effect for me. The only way to know for sure is to keep a watchful attitude on what I say and be mindful of my effect on others.
