Daily Stoic Entry #282: What Do My Principles Tell Me About Persisting and Resisting?
October 10th, 2022
Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).
Morning Reflection:
Staying in the game, getting up and going on. Surviving, knowing you'll be all right despite setbacks, is what I've learned. I want to do better and it's not exactly a set of principles but rather lessons I've learned on this journey this year.
Evening Reflection:
Frankly, if one would ask me to list my set of principles i would have difficulty to be specific. I just want to be kind to others and live a meaningful life that I'm satisfied with. I suppose that tells you that in order to create that you have to persist in showing up and building these qualities, sharing thee with others. And resist the negative influences in your environment and ignore the influence of the cynics around you. As well as your own temptations to give to laziness and other similar factors than I can be guilty off quite often (for no good reason, rest is a good reason).
