Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

Thankfully I'm not a person who has a problematic temper. I don't anger easily or lose control over it that often. Nevertheless there are moments where I find that frustration overcomes me preventing me to get to work and let go. If possible disengage, step away for five minutes. Temper doesn't necessarily mean losing control and becoming angry. Consider the overall temper, your mood. Ups and downs come and go at various points in life. Upward or downward motions, take a breath. You have more control than you think.

Evening Reflection:

Not much more to add than what I jotted down this morning. It's more important to overcome and conquer your fear. Temper is not my main problem. Your imperative is to not overcome an angry temper but to cultivate an even temper across all emotions. Don't think you need to be an emotionless robot but rather be in control and not get swept up in unproductive emotions that hold you back from doing what you should be doing.

Title prompts are taken from The Daily Stoic Journal by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman.
