Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

To stay informed. We tell ourselves to follow the news so we can stay informed. But we so often get upset about whatever we hear or read. It's better to not engage and focus instead on your immediate surroundings and do what you can.

Another thing is the opinion of others. I care too much about what others think or may think, you can't control that nor should you want to, leave it be.

Evening Reflection:

I've already mentioned the opinion of others but it's worth revisiting. Because it feels like it also has to do with your sense of unworthiness so you seek to be validated by others instead of focusing on yourself. This is an unnecessary energy drain on your mental resources. Lately though I feel I'm getting lighter and making progress in this regard. Keep this in mind. Also less energy should be spend on money. You have it, the money engine is mostly automated just keep doing that and don't feel guilty about spending some on yourself.

Title prompts are taken from The Daily Stoic Journal by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman.
