Morning Reflection:

By stepping back and continuously asking the question “Am I doing this for myself or are others choosing this for me?” An example could be skill development in your job. There will be things that the company wants you to learn and do but consider how it helps you in the long-term development of your career. Find the balance and overlap so that you can develop into a direction you want whilst still contributing in a meaningful way. Outside of professional life you shouldn't make this compromise as much. The whole point of this exercise is to figure out what you want, and not what others think is best for you.

Evening Reflection:

A great way to get in touch with your inner voice is meditation. Or simply silence and sitting with yourself in that quiet. Most of the time your voice is drowned out by all the noise coming from the outside world. Try to shut this out. Doing nothing for ten minutes is quite effective for this. Simply put, find ways to connect the mind with the body through activities like exercise and meditation. It helps you disconnect from other voices and become more integrated with your mind and body. Too often we overthink which separates the body from the mind. When those two are more integrated people are more in tune with that inner voice that we often refer to as intuition or gut feeling.
