Morning Reflection:

Haha if that isn’t a question tailormade for me. The first thought is everything. I have the tendency to overthink most things, normally this is a great skill. Recently I’ve come to realize that most overthinking I do is not conducive to some of the things I need to be doing. Work and dating especially benefits from breaking it down into one simple task and attack that rather than worrying about stuff that might or might not occur in the future.

Evening Reflection:

As I stated earlier I have a tendency to overthink which makes many things harder than they need to be. I suspect that for this issue, as well as other things in life, the key is to simplify. Break everything down to its most simple components and attack those one by one. Exercise is the same way, we all are steered off course by the million different workout plans and optimized exercises. But the simple fact is a simple routine executed well is much better. The simple science is that if you lift more than the previous session and you repeat this often you’ll get stronger.
