Daily Stoic Entry #48: What Happiness Am I Putting Off That I Could Have Right Now?

February 17th 2022

Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

Much happiness can be found in yourself. Putt off the tendency to feel happy when validated by external sources. Only you can ultimately feel good about yourself. Most feelings of self-worth, confidence, performance will be much simpler if you start with accepting yourself, then it’s all steered by internal values.

Evening Reflection:

If you can capture that quiet confidence and that permanent internal mental serenity, then you ill see much more success than you think. This applies to dating, career, etc. When you are calm and confidently yourself without apologizing for it, you will be much more attractive to all people you deal with. That happiness you chase after is already here, it’s inherent to your being. It’s not something you have to find ‘out there’.
