Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

I think I am. This journaling practice forces you to examine certain assumption and questions about your life. By engaging daily you are making healthy awareness and introspection a habit. Just make sure examine all impressions good or bad, fairly or justly. Don’t, for example, be too hard on certain things about yourself where it doesn’t help you to think in that manner.

Evening Reflection:

Letting the ego go is important in this process of introspection and self-actualization. Learning that voice out of the equation because it will allow you to focus on what is rather than think about what ‘you should be doing’ , ‘that’s not me’, or ‘you can’t do that’. Those type of lies your ego is fond of creating. It loves creating false impressions and stories like that, so let that be.

Title prompts are taken from The Daily Stoic Journal by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman.
