Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

A few things but mental health especially. I feel that people who’ve never dealt with it have little understanding of how precious it is and how much another person can suffer. So, really with that theme, I feel that people take that for granted. As well as their relationships as someone who has few friends it pains me, but those who have a solid group of friends that they can count on take it for granted.

Evening Reflection:

What else is this question asking? It’s asking you to observe and really look at other people. And with a full on war developing in Europe I can’t help but imagine what life would look like if war were to come here. But then everything’s relatively normal. Mothers walking their children, people shopping, and going on holiday. Those simple things we are accustomed to are not a given, that much is clear to us now after a pandemic and now with a war developing in eastern Europe.

Title prompts are taken from The Daily Stoic Journal by Ryan Holiday and Stephen Hanselman.
