Daily Stoic Entry #68: Does My Social Circle Make Me Better or Worse?

March 9th, 2022

Follow along with my personal daily stoic journal, unfiltered, unedited (except for some spelling mistakes).

Morning Reflection:

My social circle is barely existent but those I do know make me better as far as I can tell. The thing that makes it worse is the lack of a true deep connection with a few people. I wish to forge better relationships that give me fulfillment.

Evening Reflection:

There's not much else to be said for this question other than the worst doesn't come from the friends I do have, but the lack of a sizable number of friends. Now, I don't need a legion of surface level friends, but a good few with a deep connection. You know, someone you can call to help you or pour your heart out or something along those lines.
